Nottingham

In all honesty, I am a terribly lazy blogger and I would be happy to just upload everything I have on Facebook. But I find it pretty annoying to have all my mementos all cluttered trapped in the platform which would eventually end up looking like a gutter. Henceforth, I decided to upload pictures (which are of a reasonable amount) here or at least, my travel logs. SIGH, I don't even know what I'm speaking of any more :/ terrible.

I'm sorry that all my photographs are taken through an IPhone camera.

So personal thoughts aside, here are some prettier pictures of the trip I would really like to share with you guys :)

Dandelions, deers and so so much land. Oh and a bus to NTU campus?! HEE.

So my first destination during my trip in Eurosphere was Nottingham, UK!
The main reason to come here was to visit my brother whose studying in UK. Nottingham would be what I describe as a suburb of the united kingdom. They don't really have much there and what I mean by not having much is, by in a girl's dictionary, not much shopping. heh. I had no problems adjusting to the jet leg of 7 hours behind time since I'm consider pretty nocturnal in my native land.

After settling in a bit, a bit by which I mean my mom obviously being a mom would rush me out of the house to fully exhaust the whole holiday trip to make every penny's worth (PHEW, that's a long sentence to breathe in!), my mom and I went to meet kor kor in his university campus! What really wowed me was the abundance of land. So muuuuccchhhh land! Obviously my mom and bro thought I was some hyper asian lunatic getting excited over a piece of empty land and also every other little thing like dandelions and how there are deers and other sort of crap. But seriously, it's amazing even til' now! My brother even exclaimed the comment of how our Singapore government would build condominiums if there were these lands here, which is highly plausible. Lol. OH did i mention how comfy the dorm in University of Nottingham is? I think if I were the one studying there, I'll probably be in bed 24/7 and only crawl out of the room to consumer or defecate, and perhaps, sometimes for lecture, that is, if I feel like it..

In retrospect, well, Nottingham is rather quiet in its city, nothing much except for the chilly weather. But then again, I was pretty excited about every single thing since I just stepped into a culture shock. I wouldn't recommend you visiting this place since there's really not much you can do here unless it's to visit a friend or a kin. The takeaway I had was really the university, and the laaaaandd. sooo. muucchh. laaaanddd.

And I'm off :)
