Hola

Hi guys sorry i know havent been updating my blog at all and there were so many big moments that were never shared here. I like sharing more optimistic moments in my life here, yet, I still cringe at some of these timelines and entries with some sort of disdain.

The most eventful and recent thing that happened was the Europe trip that I went last last last last week?! Hee just right after my finals and I'm gone from Singapore without a notice! Not exactly, I did "publicise" my disappearance on FB :)

Anyways here's some preamble photographs before I start streaming all in with more meaningful captions and phrasing of sentences HAH!

aw such scenic, picturesque landscape.

Well, one thing I'll have to say is that the grass always look greener at the place you rarely/want to go to. It's like having a boyfriend/girlfriend - in my case, a boy la. Before you were with him, you thought, wow, such a rare find, such beauty, such talent; what a catch! But then when you are with him, you see both the good, the bad and the ugly. Probably thinking to yourself, hey there's this other guy who is better. Honestly it's not true, unless you're in an abusive relationship then yes I forgive you. It's because you seen two sides of the story now. And in order to find that beauty within again, it is to embrace it, and perhaps, you would find the even truer meaning of beauty that cannot be seen in any other way.

So honestly, yes I truly think that Europe is a really really pleasing, and ravishing place to be. It too made me see how Singapore is also a really nice place to be in despite the heat, the humidity, the competition and the fast-paced everything. Yet, think of the food; the laska, the chicken rice, the roti prata, the multi-racial everything; think convenience, think acceptance of your individuality(race or religion), think of safety, think cleanliness, so many things that are privileged yet being taken for granted. cliche but true! I would live in both places, really, but right now I'm just really glad to be where I am now :)

Oh it's the holidays! What else can I think of but the joie de vivre!
