Edinburgh: its old and new town

Edinburgh has to be one of my favourite cities where its old and new town is being parted by a bridge. Its new town isn't exactly that 'new' , especially not in Singapore's context where slight over 45 years of history even can't substantiate the historical value of Edinburgh's new town. There's so much history here, in fact, almost everywhere in Europe there's some historical landmark or some sort. It's crazy! So what I may say is that you history students should be glad we have such recent history; there's so much less to study but on the hindsight, it wouldn't be so interesting or intriguing.

These pictures really do no justice to its architectural phenomena. Every alley there's something to learn, there's a hill, a castle to visit - all within this city. So many dateable places to bring your lover to breathe in the cool dry air and embrace in each other when the cool air blows. Potential overseas trip here recommended. Hehe.

Oh yes, not to forget. MALLARDS. So many in Europe. Did you know that the brown one is a female and the green-headed one is the male. ZOMG! I found that out on 9gag. Hahahah.
